How to claim

The first step is to tell us about the circumstances of your accident or injury. We will advise you WITHOUT CHARGE of your likely prospects if we proceed.

If we do go on to make a claim on your behalf, the third party's insurers generally have three months in which to accept or reject liability.

Goldens will arrange for you to be examined by a medical expert from our panel of experts, which includes experts in general soft tissue injuries; orthopaedic; psychological; plastic surgery; facial; eye; ear, nose and throat; neurological and many others.

If you have suffered financial losses, e.g. loss of earnings, we may instruct an expert to calculate your past and future losses. Such experts may involve accountants, employment experts and rehabilitation experts assess your personal circumstances, including aids and equipment that might be required to assist you.

Depending on the estimated recovery time of your symptoms, we will advise you on the future procedure for settlement of your claim, including the value of your case.

Clients are advised when it is appropriate to apply for interim payments from the opponent, to assist you prior to conclusion of your claim. This may include payment for medical treatment, loss of earnings, vehicle policy excess or rehabilitation costs.
